How to make it

  • Cut the salami into quarters
  • Cut thin, lengthwise slices from each of the pickles to make a smooth base
  • With the tip of of a knife, cut out a wedge shape strip on top side each pickle
  • Fill the hollow with cheese
  • Insert a quarter slice salami in to cheese to form a sail
  • makes 3 dozen

    oh too cool!! my partner and I are avid sailors. we love our boat and sailing more than anything (except we love our 14 yr old belgian shephard most. LOL). anyhow. thanks for posting. i'm adding to my favs... i think this will be something fun to serve on the boat to guests... bon vogage.......
