How to make it

  • Blend sugar and margarine.
  • Add eggs and beat well.
  • Add tomato soup.
  • Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and spices together.
  • Add to creamed mixture.
  • Add raisins and nuts. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Bake at 375 for approx. 35 minutes.
  • This cake is good with cream cheese or brown sugar icing!

    This is one of the best cakes I've ever made..no one..and I mean NO ONE believes it has tomato soup in it! My recipe didn't call for rasins or nuts, interesting possibilities..I have added grated carrots, 1 cup or zucchini-1 cup..I use creamcheese icing..ENERYONE should try this..VERY YUMMY!!
