BBQ Trout Filets

- 6-8 boneless trout fillets shopping list
- Marinade: shopping list
- ½ c. soy sauce shopping list
- juice and zest of 1 lemon shopping list
- ¼ c. canola oil shopping list
- 4 T. seasoned rice vinegar shopping list
- 1 T. white worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 T. dried chives shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 4 T. sour cream, or lite or fat free shopping list
- 2 T. mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 t. creamed horseradish shopping list
- 1 lemon sliced shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse the trout fillets. Add all the other ingredients together to make a marinade. Rub the trout fillets with 2 of the reserved lemon slices. Place trout in sealable plastic bag with marinade. Marinate 1 hour. At the same time, soak 1 large handful of wood chips in water. Prepare a medium hot fire. When ready, take trout out of marinade. Place on a turnable very-well-oiled fish rack. Grill over direct heat, skin side down, for about 5 minutes. Turn carefully and grill an additional minute. Serve with horseradish sauce and garnish with reserved lemon slices.
