Baked White Fish With Fresh Herbs Recipe
This is a gardener's delight. Nobody understands why anybody goes to all that trouble to lovingly tend that garden. Until they taste what those fresh herbs can do to something so simple

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. mild white fish fillets, sole or flounder
  • ½ t. sweet Hungarian paprika
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 T. fresh thyme leaves
  • 3 T. fresh chopped chives
  • 1 T. dill weed
  • 4 T. sweet butter
  • ½-3/4 cup condensed milk or cream

Directions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse fish and pat dry with paper towels. Lay fish in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle fish with a bit of salt and paprika. Add herbs over. Dot with butter. Add milk or cream until fish is halfway covered. Bake 10-12 minutes until fish is flakey. Test sauce for saltiness. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
