Basic Mushroom Broth

- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1-1/2 cup mushroom peelings and stems shopping list
- 1 tablespoon onion; minced shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon fine ground white pepper shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Place the mushroom stems, peelings and onion in the water.
- Add the salt, pepper and thyme.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Strain or process the broth and refrigerate until needed.
