Pumpkin Chiffon Pie

- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- ½ c brown sugar shopping list
- 1 c cooked pumpkin shopping list
- ½ c milk shopping list
- ½ tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp (envelope) gelatin shopping list
- ¼ c cold water shopping list
- ½ tsp ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- ½ tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff shopping list
- ½ c white sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Beat egg yolks and brown sugar until thick. Add pumpkin, milk, salt, and spices. Cook on stove until thick. Remove from heat.
- Soften gelatin in cold water. Stir into the hot mixture.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and add white sugar until very stiff. Fold into pumpkin.
- Pour into cooled and baked shells and chill.
