How to make it

  • Bake 1 pone cornbread. Crumble the cornbread in large heatproof round mixing bowl. Heat the chicken/turkey broth. While broth is heating, add the chopped onion, chopped celery, sage, pepper, poultry seasoning, & salt to the cornbread mixture. Add the butter/margarine. Add beaten egg. Blend well. Then add hot broth. Mix well. Pour into a Pam'd 13x9x3" metal baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
