Swiss Crabwiches

- 1/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard shopping list
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 pound sliced bacon, crisply cooked, drained and crumbled shopping list
- 1 pound crabmeat shopping list
- 6-8 scallions, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese shopping list
- 4 kaiser rolls or French rolls, split, buttered and toasted shopping list
How to make it
- Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble.
- In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper and nutmeg.
- Mix until well blended.
- Stir in bacon, crabmeat, onions and cheese.
- Butter and lightly toast the rolls.
- Spread about 1/4 cup of the mixutre onto each half of roll.
- Place on a rimmed baking sheet and broil about 6-inches from the heat until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Serve warm.
