Quick Green Beans With Roasted Red Peppers

- 1 lb fresh snapped and cleaned green beans or frozen will do in a pinch shopping list
- cracked black pepper to taste shopping list
- lemon pepper to taste or kosher salt (large pinch) shopping list
- 4-5 slices roasted red pepper pieces in olive oil (roughly 1/2 red pepper) or roast your own on the stovetop shopping list
- 4 tbl extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves diced garlic shopping list
- 1 medium onion (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Clean and snap the green beans (or use frozen and defrost in cold water and drain and dry do not use canned too mushy and salty)
- Julienne roasted red pepper strips
- dice garlic
- slice onion in strips (optional)
- heat oil to almost smoking in a large skillet
- toss in onions cook 1 minute
- toss in green beans and red peppers and garlic and cook 2 - 3 minutes stirring
- add cracked black pepper and lemon pepper or salt
