Pepper Pork With Chive Sauce Recipe
Another trued and true delight out of a recent magazine. My husband loves pork chops and this one really got his attention. I served them with smoked gouda mashed potatoes and a cucumber tomato salad. Yummy

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground tri-colored peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoons cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 3 ounce package cream cheese with chives cut up
  • Snipped fresh chives

Directions
  1. Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with pepper rubbing it lightly into the pork.
  2. In a heavy duty skillet cook pork in hot oil for 10 minutes
  3. Turn half way through cooking.
  4. Remove pork and keep warm.
  5. Carefully add water to the hot skillet then add sherry.
  6. Heat until bubbly.
  7. Add cream cheese.
  8. Using a wire whisk heat and whisk over medium heat until cheese is melted.
  9. Transfer warm pork to 4 dinner plates.
  10. Spoon sauce over pork.
  11. Sprinkle with snipped chives.
