Taco Lasagna

- 1-2 pounds of ground beed (I used 1.5) shopping list
- 1-2 packages of taco seasoning mix ( I used 1.5) shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- water (according to taco mix directions) shopping list
- flour to dust dish shopping list
- 2 packages flour tortilla (10-12 each) shopping list
- 1 (24 ounce) jar salsa shopping list
- 1 cup sliced green onions shopping list
- 16 ounces sour cream mixed with 1 TBS chili powder shopping list
- 4 Cups Montery Jack/ cheddar cheese blend shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375
- Brown beef and drain well
- Add garlic taco seasoning, and water to beef
- Simmer uncovered 10 minutes
- Sprinkle flour on bottom of 9X13 pan
- Place 6 tortillas on bottom of pan overlapping and extending up sides slightly
- Layer in following order:
- 1 Cup salsa
- !/2 meat mixture
- 1/2 cup green onions
- 1/2 sour cream mixture
- 1/3 of cheese
- Repeat layer one more time
- Top with tortilla layer and remaining salsa
- Bake for 40 minutes
- Remove top with remaining cheese and bake 10 more minutes
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
- Note you may also use cornmeal and corn tortillas instead of flour
