Taco Lasagna Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Brown beef and drain well
  • Add garlic taco seasoning, and water to beef
  • Simmer uncovered 10 minutes
  • Sprinkle flour on bottom of 9X13 pan
  • Place 6 tortillas on bottom of pan overlapping and extending up sides slightly
  • Layer in following order:
  • 1 Cup salsa
  • !/2 meat mixture
  • 1/2 cup green onions
  • 1/2 sour cream mixture
  • 1/3 of cheese
  • Repeat layer one more time
  • Top with tortilla layer and remaining salsa
  • Bake for 40 minutes
  • Remove top with remaining cheese and bake 10 more minutes
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
  • Note you may also use cornmeal and corn tortillas instead of flour

    Now I haven't tried this yet but I just drooled when I saw 2 ingredients-sour cream and Monterey Jack Cheese. Yummy! Thanks
