Sour Cream Raisin Pie 2

- sour cream raisin PIE 2 shopping list
- 1 baked pie shell shopping list
- 1 c. raisins shopping list
- 1 c. water shopping list
- 1 c. sour cream shopping list
- 1 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 rounded tbsp. flour shopping list
- 3 egg yolks, beaten shopping list
- (use whites for meringue) shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar shopping list
- 6 tab. sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Stew raisins in water until tender. Save 1/2 cup of juice. Add sour cream, sugar, salt, flour and cook for 5 minutes. Add beaten egg yolks and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour filling into pie shell and top with meringue.
- MERINGUE: Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff. Add sugar and beat in. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden brown
