How to make it

  • Wait to butter the bread. You will understand why soon.
  • Heat up a skillet on the stove to med/high heat.
  • Dust the cinnamon onto one side of the bread.
  • Cover the cinnamon with some of the softened butter.
  • Place on the skillet butter/cinnamon side down and toast til lightly golden brown.
  • Turn and lightly toast the "dry" side of the slices of bread.
  • Mix the powdered sugar, vanilla, and small amounts of the water til you have a syrup consistency to the mixture.
  • Drizzle the sugar mixture over the cinnamon side of the toast.
  • Enjoy!
