Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan
  • Add garlic slices and fry until golden brown in color
  • Add tomato paste and fry for one minute
  • Add diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro leaves and fry for 5 minutes
  • Add salt, sugar and water and mix for 1 minute
  • Add louisiana hot sauce
  • Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes on medium heat.
  • Adjust thickness as desired. It should be the consistancy of tomato puree or mango juice.
  • Enjoy with fried fish and rice. Yet you may try with lamb also
