Honey Almond Sour Cream Cake

- 1 c brown sugar shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
- 1 c creamed honey shopping list
- 1 c cooking oil (I use canola) shopping list
- 1 c sour cream shopping list
- 2 3/4 c flour shopping list
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 c slivered almonds shopping list
- 1/4 c liquid honey shopping list
How to make it
- Beat the sugar and eggs then add the creamed honey and beat well.
- Add the oil slowly, beating on low speed until completely blended.
- Add the sour cream and beat some more.
- In another bowl combine the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and almonds.
- Add to wet ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Pour into a greased 9x13 baking pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for an hour, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- While cake is still warm brush the liquid honey over top and serve warm.
