Ingredients
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup Enova or canola oil
  • 3 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp sea salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper or to taste

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk vigorously to combine.
  2. The mixture may separate as it stands; whisk before serving to restore consistency.
  3. Balsamic Yogurt Dressing can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for up to one week.

This looks good - what kind of salad would you pair it with (e.g., house, spicy greens, etc.?


I personally would use it on a greens salad. It would all depend on your own taste.


This was really nice on my spinach salad tonight. My new fave dressing! :) i even had to send some home in a jar w/ my Mom because she loved it too.

I made this recipe last night and it was slightly over powering on the yogurt flavor. quick fix to balance it out, 1 more tsp of balsamic and 2 tsp of honey.

by the way 14 tsp of black pepper MUST be a typo, I went with 1/4 and it worked well.

TRY the original recipe first, use my suggestions next if you feel like it's missing something, a lot of people seemed to like it just the way it stands.

Alterations


- 1/4 tsp of black pepper (rather than 14 tsp)
- 4 tsp of balsamic (rather than 3)
- 2 tsp of honey (in addition)
