How to make it

  • Cook ground beef and onions in a large skillet until the beef no longer remains pink. Drain off fat.
  • Stir chili powder, oregano, and cumin into beef mixture and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add beans, chickpeas, and tomatoes. Mix gently to combine.
  • Combine lettuce topped with cheese on 4 individual plates
  • Add 1/2 cup of beef mixture on top of lettuce and cheese.
  • For a group salad add lettuce in a large bowl, top with cheese and lay mixture on top
