How to make it

  • In saucepan place butter, Eagle Brand milk
  • After butter melts, cook about 5 minutes
  • Stir in vanilla
  • Add cashews and pecans, stir gently
  • Place nuts on cookie sheet in 375 degree oven
  • Bake for 15 minutes, stirring a couple of times
  • Remove from oven
  • Cool on cookie sheet, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes
  • Meanwhile in a zip lock bag, place salt, chili powder, mix
  • Add sugar to the salt, chili powder mixture
  • After cooling for 30 minutes on cookie sheet, add nuts to the salt, chili powder, sugar mixture to coat.
  • After coating place cooled nuts in a container with lid or zip lock bags
