Eagle Wing Cashews And Pecans

- 4 sticks unsalted butter* shopping list
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 pound cashews shopping list
- 1 pound pecans shopping list
- COATING shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chili powder shopping list
- NOTE: Thought about using less butter? shopping list
How to make it
- In saucepan place butter, Eagle Brand milk
- After butter melts, cook about 5 minutes
- Stir in vanilla
- Add cashews and pecans, stir gently
- Place nuts on cookie sheet in 375 degree oven
- Bake for 15 minutes, stirring a couple of times
- Remove from oven
- Cool on cookie sheet, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes
- Meanwhile in a zip lock bag, place salt, chili powder, mix
- Add sugar to the salt, chili powder mixture
- After cooling for 30 minutes on cookie sheet, add nuts to the salt, chili powder, sugar mixture to coat.
- After coating place cooled nuts in a container with lid or zip lock bags
