How to make it

  • Melt butter in a 4 quart saucepan until just sizzling.
  • Add turkey, onion and garlic.
  • Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned (10 to 12 minutes).
  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients except green pepper and Cheddar cheese.
  • Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through (25 to 35 minutes).
  • Stir in green pepper.
  • Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until green pepper is heated through and somewhat softened (3 to 5 minutes).
  • To serve, spoon chili into bowls and top each serving with at least 2 tablespoons of cheese.

    Mmmmmm... this looks so darn tasty. I know it's going to be a winner in my family even though we don't eat a lot of chili. This is reserved for a damp and rainy day. Thanks for posting.
