This is an easy green chili. It takes a while to cook, but you can kick back and stir every minutes and after two hours you have dinner ready!

Ingredients
  • 2 LBS boneless chicken breast cubed or cubed pork
  • 1 14 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 white onion(diced)
  • 1 15 oz can great northern beans (optional)
  • 1 10 oz can enchilada sauce
  • 1 16oz jar salsa verde
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • green habenaro sauce (optional)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers(diced)

Directions
  1. Heat oil in large skillet. Add chicken and diced onion and brown till chicken is fully cooked. Add chicken broth, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, except habenaro sauce, and simmer for 50 minutes (add water if chili is too thick). Add habenaro sauce to your own preference.(I like it HOT!) Simmer 10 more minutes and serve with corn bread and butter or oyster crackers.
