How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.F
  • In a large skillet, brown steak pieces lightly in the butter. Transfer to a shallow 2-quart baking dish
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Mix picante sauce and chilies and pour over meat.
  • Cover tightly with foil.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • Uncover. sprinkle with cheese. Put back in oven for 5 minutes more to melt cheese. Serve with the Lemon Pilaf.

  • In medium skillet, saute in butter celery and geen onions about 10 minutes. Add the cooked rice, grated lemon peel, and salt and pepper to taste. Heat, stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.
