Pumpkin Bread

- 3 c sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp cloves shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 c oil shopping list
- 2/3 c water shopping list
- 3-1/2 c flour shopping list
- 1 15 ounce can of pure pumpkin (or squash), not pie filling shopping list
- Optional shopping list
- 1/2 c chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1-1/2 sm boxes of dates, chopped or shopping list
- 1-1/2 c raisins, plumped in warm water shopping list
How to make it
- Add ingredients in given order
- Bake 1 hr 25 minutes at 325 in UNGREASED, UNFLOURED baking tins
- Cool 10 to 15 minutes, run knife around edges, tap bottom of pan if necessary to remove.
- Cool completely before wrapping.
