Asparagus Rolls Recipe
These asparagus rolls are time consuming to make but satisfying in taste, keep well and will impress everyone at your next gathering!

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch large asparagus, woody ends trimmed off and well washed
  • 10 slices Fontina or Mild Provolone cheese - left out to soften slightly
  • 10 mediium thickness slices of Prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Grey Salt
  • 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp . Paprika
  • 1/2 c. Creamy Caesar Dressing or Aglio Olio

Directions
  1. Toss the asparagus with the Olive Oil and spices.
  2. Spread onto baking sheet and broil until asparagus is firm but tender.
  3. Transfer asparagus immediately onto cool baking sheet and place in refrigerator to cool until well chilled.
  4. Wind 1 slice cheese around each asparagus spear.
  5. Wind prosciutto around asparagus and cheese.
  6. Drizzle w/Caesar dressing or Aglio Olio.
  7. Serves 10 as an appetizer, 5 as a First Course.
  8. If taking to a party, lay out decoratively on a platter and wait until right before serving before drizzling or leave on the side for dipping.
