  • butter or margarine
  • flour
  • baking powder
  • pkg. dry vanilla pudding mix--not instant
  • egg
  • milk
  • can of sliced peaches (or you can use fresh)
  • pkg. cream cheese
  • sugar
  • peach juice
  • cinnamon

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350*. Grease sides and bottom of 9-inch or 10 inch deep dish pie plate.
  2. 1) Combine: 3 T. butter or margarine
  3. 3/4 c. flour
  4. 1 t. baking powder
  5. 1 - 3 oz. package dry vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
  6. 1 egg
  7. 1/2 c. milk
  8. Beat 2 minutes in medium mixing bowl. Pour in prepared pan.
  9. 2) 1-15-20 oz. can sliced peaches (or halves and you slice them or you can use fresh.) Drain well, but reserve the juice. Place sliced peaches over batter.
  10. 3) Combine: 1-8 oz. pkg. softened cream cheese
  11. 1/2 c. sugar
  12. 3 T. peach juice
  13. Combine in med. bowl and mix 2 minutes. Spoon to within 1" of edge of pan.
  14. 4) Combine 1 T. sugar and 1/2 t. cinnamon and sprinkle over cream cheese filling.
  15. 5) Bake at 350* for 30 to 35 minutes or til crust is golden brown. Filling will appear soft. Check edges to make sure batter is done. Store in frig. This is best when it is still warm!!!!
