Jennifer Talbotts Breakfast Casserole Recipe
A friend from work makes this breakfast casserole for every carry-in. There's never any left!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound sausage (I use Jimmy Dean’s sage sausage)
  • 1 count crescent rolls
  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 8 oz. Shredded Colby cheese

Directions
  1. Brown sausage. Mix eggs and milk. Layer bottom of baking dish with crescent rolls. Pour egg mixture over crescent rolls and add sausage and cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375-400 degrees.
  2. Optional: Add fried hash browns to the eggs, sausage and cheese, and/or Durkees onion rings on top.

Sounds really good for my picky family!!


This is a great one dish meal that would go great with Easter brunch. Bring on the Mimosas and I'll be over.


Going to try this for the tradition I unintetionally started several years ago--doing a Christmas Day brunch!
