Apple-pear Ginger Chai

- 1 1/2 c. water shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. whole milk shopping list
- 2 teabags Taj Mahal or other black tea shopping list
- 1/4 apple, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/4 pear, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 tsp. ginger, peeled and minced shopping list
- 1 tsp. sugar shopping list
- dash of nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan, bring water and milk to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add tea, letting it simmer 2-3 minutes, until the color of the liquid has deepened.
- Add apple, pear, ginger, sugar, and nutmeg. Let simmer for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, and pour through tea strainer (or coffee filter) into teacups or mugs.
- Serve hot and fresh!

Great aromatic recipe! I don't drink milk so will have to use a substitute, maybe almond milk. Sounds so good.. Thanks for sharing.
