How to make it

  • Mix the pork kasim strips with the rnext four ingredients. make sure all the pork is covered with the mixture.
  • Let it sit for about an hour.
  • Steam the pork for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes or until pork is tender.
  • Meanwhile, in a spearate cooker, heat some water and when the water is about to boil, immerse the petchay baguio (blanch). Don't overcook!
  • Place the petchay in a platter. Remove the pork from the steamer and place it on top of the petchay and serve! This recipe is also good for chicken breast fillet.

    you can use lettuce as a substitute for pechay baguio. It's a variety of lettuce from the philippines' summer capital of baguio city. It's a city built by the americans in the 1900's in the mountains of benguet province. :)
