Gooey Peanut Butter Cake Recipe

Rich and gooey for an added treat add a scoop of vanilla icecream

Ingredients
- for the cake
- 1 18 oz box chocolate cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1 stick butter or margarine melted
- for the filling
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 16 oz box powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter or margarine melted
Directions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
- lightly grease a 9 by 13 inch cake pan
- In a medium bowl combine the cake ingredients mixing well with mixer
- pat into the bottom of the cake pan
- In a clean medium bowl beat the cream cheese with the mixer until smooth
- add eggs vanilla and peanut butter blend well with the mixer
- add entire box of surger and mix well on high speed
- reduce the mixer speed and slowly pour in butter mixing well
- pour over cake mixture and spread evenly
- bake for 40 to 50 minutes
- do not over bake or center will not be gooey
- cool completly in pan before cutting into squares
