  • 1 package of mini marshmallows
  • 3 TB instant coffee grains
  • 3 TB salted butter
  • Optional Toppings:
  • 2 cups bittersweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted pecans, toasted almonds, mini chocolate chips (great with the white chocolate), toasted coconut or untoasted sweetened coconut
  • 1 TB butter

Directions
  1. In a glass bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Add marshmallows and melt for one minute in microwave.
  3. Mix butter and marshmallows well until smooth.
  4. Add the instant coffee.
  5. Stir again until well-combined.
  6. Add cereal and fold into the marshmallow mix.
  7. Pour this into a well-buttered 8 inch pan and press lightly with buttered hands.
  8. Cut into squares or bars and serve.
  9. *If you wish to dip your bars, cut your bars into finger-length bars and place on waxed paper or silicone baking sheet (Or release aluminum foil)
  10. Melt your choice of chips with the 1 TB of butter for one minute in the microwave, stirring well for a smooth dipping substance. Dip either one side of the bar or the middle to the end of each bar into the "dip" then dip into your choice of nuts, coconut or mini-chips.

I luv a good bowl of Coco Krispies! Sounds like another winner, Annie. You are really something! Even a guy like me can make these without too much trouble. Gotta try this now too. Thankx.

My wife made these and they're so good. I made them last month but she wanted to try the recipe. She's making them for her board meeting so you know that this recipe is going places! Thanks for the post and again, thanks for a new favorite recipe! I love these bars!
