If you have your own apple trees ...enjoy. Otherwise, go to a farm , pick, peel cook enjoy all winter

Ingredients
- -4 lbs Apples..I use Braeburn
- -4 C Apple Cider
- -1/2 tsp each...Ground Cloves, Allspice, Nutmeg, Ginger
- -1/2 Tb Salt
- -2 tsp Cinnamon
- -2 C Brown Sugar
- -1 Lemon, Juice, and zest
- Double, Triple, etc.. this recipe. It always works.
Directions
- -Peel, core, and quarter apples. Save peel, and core. Put some cores, seeds, and peels, into a cheese cloth pouch, for pectin, and place in the cooker.
- -Add cider, and cook until the mixture is ready for applesauce.
- -Remove pouch.
- -Add remaining ingredients. Cook until "Butter Like".
- -Turn down, Stir occasionally.
- -Cool, Store, Can, or freeze.
