Ingredients
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 tablespoon liquid sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions
  1. Combine raisins, dates and water in saucepan and boil 3 minutes stirring constantly then cool.
  2. Cream together eggs, margarine, liquid sugar substitute and vanilla.
  3. Sift together cinnamon, flour and soda.
  4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture then beat well and chill several hours.
  5. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet and bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
