Ingredients

1 lb oleo

1 qt peanut butter

2 lbs 10X sugar

3/4 cake paraffin

3 C chocolate chips

Directions

Melt oleo over low heat

add peanut butter & 10X sugar

Mix well

chill mixture before rolling,

shape into walnut sized balls

melt paraffin & choc chips in heavy saucepan

Dip balls in chocolate mix; place on waxed paper

when hard to mix use pastry blender

I used to make something very similar, can't find my recipe now - but it was spread into a 9 x 13 pan, and the chocolate was spread over the top. Think you could do this the same way? Leaving the paraffin out, maybe?
