Ingredients
  • 1 glass of bulgur wheat (or rice)
  • Greek noodles called fides (vermicelli pasta)
  • 2 glasses of hot water
  • ½ glass of olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 ripe fresh tomatoes or 1 can of whole tomatoes with juice
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. We heat water. Blend the onion in the multi with 2 – 3 spoonfuls of olive oil. Wet the pan with remaining oil and sauté the onion and the noodle. In the meantime without washing multi blend the tomatoes with juice. Add tomato and hot water, salt and pepper and leave it to boil for 2 – 3 minutes. We add the leftovers (pork roast meat, or chicken) and the bulgur wheat and stir for 10 – 15 minutes until all fluid is absorbed.
  2. We serve with yoghurt.
  3. This can me a main dish or a side dish (without the meat).
