Similar to the original bread and butter pudding, but our family like this one better!

Ingredients
  • 4 slices thick bread
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 410g can pears, drained and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp sultanas
  • 3/4 cupMilk Melts
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180oC. Spread slices of bread with butter. Cut each slice into 4 triangles. Arrange a layer of bread over base of a greased ovenproof dish.
  2. Place pear evenly over top, then sprinkle over sultanas and Melts. Arrange remaining bread on top.
  3. Whisk together evaporated milk, eggs and sugar. Pour over bread and leave to soak for 5 minutes.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, remove and cool slightly before serving.
