taco turnovers Recipe

How to make it

  • preheat the oven to 425 degrees
  • brown the ground beef and drain
  • stri in the taco sauce, taco seasoning, and if desired the chopped hot pepper
  • mix well and set aside
  • unroll each pizza dough and pat or roll each into a 14 by 10 rectangle
  • cut both of the pizza doughs into four squares
  • divide the beef filling among the eight squares
  • top with the cheese
  • brush dough edges with water
  • fold dough over the fillings forming triangles and use a fork to pinch edges to firmly seal closed
  • arrange on a greased baking sheet
  • combine the egg and water well with a fork
  • brush the egg mixture on the turnovers
  • bake in oven for 10 minutes ofr until golden
  • serve with sour cream, and salsa
