Barbequed Shrimp

- 5 lbs. raw shrimp, unpeeled with heads on if possible shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper (black, white and red) shopping list
- oregano shopping list
- 1 clove minced garlic shopping list
- 3-6 dashes Tobasco shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1-2 sticks butter shopping list
- juice of 1/2 lemmon including pulp shopping list
- paprika shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine shopping list
- (These amounts are just suggestions; use less or more according to your taste.) shopping list
How to make it
- In a large iron skillet or braiser, place washed shrimp in a single layer.
- Coat heavily with salt, peppers and oregano.
- Melt butter and add garlic, lemon juice (with pulp) and Tobasco.
- Crumble bay leaves evenly over shrimp; then pour butter mixture and wine over all.
- Sprinkle paprika all over the top and cook in preheated 450 degree oven, uncovered, for 30 - 40 minutes.
- It is done when shrimp are pink and firm. Don't overcook.
