Crockpot Chili Recipe

Ingredients

2 TB olive oil

3 medium sized onions, diced

2 pounds ground turkey

2 (28 oz) cans diced tomatoes

2 (15.5 oz) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 (28 oz) can baked beans

1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

4 c. Frozen corn, thawed , OPTIONAL

1/4 c. Chili powder (I prefer New Mexico Chili Powder)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Tortilla or corn chips optional

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Cook onions for 10 minutes stirring occaisionally, until nicely browned. Crumble in turkey; cook for 8-10 minutes, until turkey is cooked through.

Place turkey mixture in a 6 qt crockpot. Stir in remaining ingredients except chili powder. Cook 4 hours on high or 7 hours on low. About 1 1/2 hrs before end of cooking time add chili powder. Serve with tortilla or corn chips along with shredded cheese and sour cream
