How to make it

  • Place ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the Dough Cycle, then press Start. Check dough after 5 minutes kneading to see if needs more liquid or flour.
  • When the cycle is complete, take dough out of the machine, punch down the dough and shape into two loaves. I let the machine mix the dough but let it raise in a greased bowl on my counter. Place dough in two well-greased 9x5 inch loaf pans**, cover and let rise again until doubled in bulk, or until the dough reaches the tops of the pans, about 1 hour. If you prefer dinner rolls, you can divide dough into 24 rolls and let it rise until doubled.
  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Bake 20 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned.
