Ingredients

1/2 cup butter or margarine

3 oz extra sharp Cheddar cheese

1 cup flour

1/8 tsp red pepper

1/4 tsp salt

Directions

Cream butter and cheese together. Add remaining ingredients. Shape into a 1 and 1/2 thick roll. Wrap in foil, and refrigerate until well chilled. Slice in 1/8 inch slices, and bake in 400F oven, on ungreased cookie sheet, for 6 minutes.

*This recipe freezes well.
