White Chocolate Truffles

- 8 ounces white chocolate shopping list
- 48 pecan halves shopping list
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 1 large egg yolk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300.
- Set aside a wax paper lined baking sheet.
- Chop white chocolate into small pieces and set aside.
- Toast nuts on a baking sheet in a single layer for 8 minutes then set them aside.
- In top of a double boiler over hot not boiling water melt chocolate and butter in the water.
- Stir until smooth then pour into a bowl and add the yolk.
- Continue beating until mixture is fluffy and cooled to room temperature.
- Chill for 4 hours then remove from refrigerator and form into 1" balls.
- Sandwich between 2 nut halves then chill until ready to serve.
