Pesto Chicken Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

8 ounces uncooked farfalle pasta

2 cups fresh asparagus

3 cups cubed cooked chicken

1 cup halved cherry tomatoes

1/3 cup chopped red onion

1 can sliced ripe olives well drained

3/4 cup prepared pesto sauce

3 tablespoons freshly shredded or grated Romano cheese

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions then rinse and drain.

Steam asparagus until tender crisp then drain well.

Combine cooked pasta and asparagus in a large bowl.

Stir in chicken, tomatoes, onion and olives then gently toss with pesto sauce.

Serve warm garnished with cheese.

mmm... sounds great easy and quick! my kinda meal! could i suggest maybe one could make a sauce with the Chicken, pesto, onions and Olives with a Tomatoe base? lots of black pepper and some lemon juice? ooodles of cheese on top!!
