How to make it

  • 1. Cut bread into small squares 1 cm and broil in a toaster or until crunchy to make croutons. You can also fry them in oil.
  • 2. Cut lettuce into thin strips. Slice cucumbers.
  • 3. Mix tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, onions, fresh mint and parsely in a salad bowl.
  • 4. Mix salt, pepper, lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, sumac, and olive oil. Add to salad bowl. Sprinkle croutons on surface. Serve right away.

    the pomengranate is not a must but it gives it a very nice flavour.
    Some people also add a clove of garlic crushed.
    WHen I actually make fatouch, I do not use measures, I just put things in and add dressing to taste. But for the sake of posting, I had to put measurements.
