This is an easy yet very tasty recipe. Not your ordinary pancake. Try it I think you will love it as much as I do.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup pancake mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon liquid or melted shortening
  • 1/3 cup Quaker 100% natural cereal
  • Warm maple syrup

Directions
  1. Preheat griddle to hot.
  2. Combine pancake mix, milk, egg and shortening then mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in cereal.
  4. For each pancake pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot lightly greased griddle to make 8 pancakes.
  5. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked turning only once.
  6. Serve with warm maple syrup.
