How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl, combine the mixed vegetables, chicken, cream of chicken soup and milk. Pour mixture into one of the pie crusts. Turn over the other crust and pop it out of the tin and onto the top of the filled pie. Seal the edges and poke holes in top crust.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

    We had this for dinner tonight and will make it again for SURE !! My Hubby really like pot pies and I am a lazy cook so this pleases both of us. But the next time I make it I will add a little chicken bouillon and maybe some mushrooms...because we like them

    It really is easy, take my word! I've used it many times when I was just too tired, stressed, etc. to make a 'from scratch' meal. Mama, I think it would be very easy to make it organic, also - free-range chicken, homegrown organic veggies, scratch pie crust...it would take a bit longer to make, but be well worth it, I'm sure!
