How to make it

  • Wash and stem berries.
  • Mix 3 cups berries with powdered sugar and allow to stand at least 1 hour.
  • Cook remaining cup of berries with water until tender then rub through a sieve.
  • Mix sugar with cornstarch then add to strained strawberry juice and cook until clear.
  • Arrange whole berries in tart shells and pour hot glaze over them.
  • Cool and serve.
