How to make it

  • Combine cranberries and 2-1/2 cups water in saucepan
  • Cook until berries pop
  • Strain
  • Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water
  • Combine sugar and berries in saucepan
  • Cook until sugar is dissolved
  • Add gelatin to berries, cool
  • Stir in lemon juice and ginger ale
  • Pour mixture into small trays or a flat glass dish
  • Stir and slightly beat with fork occasionally as mixture freezes
  • Freeze completely
  • * Scoop * into dishes when ready to serve
