Cranberry Sherbet Recipe
The most wonderful tasting sherbet. Cranberries combined with sugar, unflavored gelatin, lemon juice and ginger ale, then frozen in a dish or tray. Beautiful presentation in sherbet glasses.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups cranberries
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups sugar
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 cup ginger ale

Directions
  1. Combine cranberries and 2-1/2 cups water in saucepan
  2. Cook until berries pop
  3. Strain
  4. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water
  5. Combine sugar and berries in saucepan
  6. Cook until sugar is dissolved
  7. Add gelatin to berries, cool
  8. Stir in lemon juice and ginger ale
  9. Pour mixture into small trays or a flat glass dish
  10. Stir and slightly beat with fork occasionally as mixture freezes
  11. Freeze completely
  12. * Scoop * into dishes when ready to serve
  13. DELICIOUS!
