Cranberry Sherbet Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups cranberries

3 cups water

1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin

2 cups sugar

Juice of 2 lemons

1 cup ginger ale

Directions

Combine cranberries and 2-1/2 cups water in saucepan

Cook until berries pop

Strain

Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water

Combine sugar and berries in saucepan

Cook until sugar is dissolved

Add gelatin to berries, cool

Stir in lemon juice and ginger ale

Pour mixture into small trays or a flat glass dish

Stir and slightly beat with fork occasionally as mixture freezes

Freeze completely

* Scoop * into dishes when ready to serve
