A Holiday favorite of ours, fortunately we have more than enough pecans this year to make this, thanks to the two pecan trees in the front yard!

Ingredients
  • 1 pound of pecan halves (or pieces)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions
  1. In a bowl, put 2 egg whites and 1 tsp of water.
  2. Mix until frothy
  3. Add sugar, cinnamon and salt
  4. Blend
  5. Stir in pecans
  6. Gently mix and coat well
  7. Place on baking dish in 200 degree oven for 90 minutes, stir every 15 minutes
