Basil Cheese Triangles

- 1 pound of montery jack cheese or feta shopping list
- 2 eggs , slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/4 fresh chopped basil or 1 tbs dried basil leaves shopping list
- 1/4 white pepper shopping list
- 1 package (16 ounces) frozen phyllo sheets (18 by 14 inches), thawed shopping list
- 1/3 cup of butter , melted shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 400 degrees, grease cookie sheet.
- Crumble cheese into small bowl; mash with fork .
- Stir eggs, basil and white pepper until mixed.
- Cut phyllo sheets lengthwise into 2-inch strips.
- cover with plastic wrap, then with damp towel to keep them from drying out.
- Place 1 level Tsp cheese mixture on end of 1 strip.
- fold strip over cheese mixture, end over end in triangular shape,
- to opposite end.
- Place on cookie sheet, repeat with remaning strips and cheese mixture, Brush triangles lightly with butter
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
