Ingredients
  • 2 2/3 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 (8oz ) cream cheese
  • 2 (3oz) pkg strawberry jello
  • 1 pkg dream whip
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 small boxes frozen strawberries

Directions
  1. mis pretzels and margarine. form into a crust in a 9 x 13 pan
  2. bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes-cool
  3. whip dream whip as directed on package
  4. add sugar to cream cheese-mix
  5. fold in dream whip and spread on cooled crust.
  6. dissolve jello in hot water
  7. add frozen strawberries.
  8. when this starts to thicken, spread it on the cream cheese mixture.
  9. refrigerate.

I've made and eaten this one quite often. It seems to be a very popular recipe, because there is usually one or 2 at every carry-in meal. If you haven't tried this one, YOU NEED TO!!

I vote for dessert! I've always loved this, and next time I make it I'll sub. frozen peaches and peach jello for the strawberry...sound ok?
