How to make it

  • melt butter, stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Cook until VERY thick.
  • mix flour mixture with onion, vinegar and fish.
  • put into refrigerator several hours
  • take small amount and roll into balls.
  • dip in egg wash (egg and 1 T water), roll in bread crumbs
  • place in refrigerator 30 more minutes
  • deep fat fry

  • make sure the balls are small, otherwise they won't be cooked in the center
